Ustadha Ameena Blake is a distinguished educator, speaker, and community leader based in Sheffield, UK. Embracing Islam in 1992, she has since dedicated her life to Islamic education and community service.

Ustadha Ameena Blake holds an MA in Islamic Studies from the Markfield Institute of Higher Education, an MSc in Leadership and Management of Education from Sheffield Hallam University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and a BA in English Studies. She currently serves as a Muslim Chaplain at the University of Sheffield and lectures at both the Markfield Institute and Newman University. Her distinguished professional journey includes serving as Vice President of the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB), Assistant Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), Founding Director of the EHUK Women’s Refuge Project, and Islamic Advisor for Halal Guide. Known for her engaging and insightful talks on Tazkiyah, Women in Islam, Da’wah, and the Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ, she has delivered lectures across national and international platforms and has appeared on media outlets such as Channel 4, Sky TV, The Islam Channel, BBC Radio, and Iqraa TV.
