I am an NHS consultant for 15 years and since 2019 worked on Organ donation as part of British Islamic Medicine Association. I set up the first team and this has gone strength to strength. This work has highlighted the heath inequalities. Serving the community by raising the awareness of the disparity in organ donation for BAME will hopefully reduce time on the waiting list.
I am passionate about bringing positive change in the lives of others and helping them achieve their goals.
In my spare time I run the Newcastle Muslin Funeral Association and work in my garden and love doing barbeques with family and friends.
