Dr Peerbhoy is a British qualified Consultant Respiratory and Internal Medicine Physician with nearly 20 years of experience in the UK National Health Service. He has worked in prominent hospitals such as Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital, St George’s Hospital, and the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. He is currently working in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr Peerbhoy earned his medical degree from Pune University, India, in 1998, and completed MD in Respiratory Diseases from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in 2003. He completed his CCT in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine from London in 2015. He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of London and Edinburgh, and also a member of the European Sleep Research Society. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical conditions especially involving the lungs, sleep disorders, acute medicine, intensive care, and end of life care. He is a well recognised medical educator and mentor for medical students, interns, residents, and specialists.
He is a family man, and is studying in 5th year of Alimiyyah studies at Al Balagh Academy.
