Dr. Md. Wasi Akhtar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Moalajat (Medicine), School of Unani Medical Education and Research (SUMER), Jamia Hamdard (Deemed to be University), New Delhi. Before joining Jamia Hamdard in 2018, I had served AMU as Assistant Professor in the department of Moalajat, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College for about 5 years.
Dr. Wasi Akhtar has been an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), joined AMU as a student of class XI in 1996, completed BUMS and subsequently qualified for MD Moalajat in the first attempt and awas warded the degree of MD Moalajat in 2009.
Studied from one of the Great Institutes of Unani Medicine (AK Tibbiya college, AMU), and Working in another Great Institute of Unani Medicine, Jamia Hamdard, which stands synonymous with Unani medicine.
Dr. Wasi Akhtar have Teaching, Clinical and Research Experience of about 14 years and, have published 43 Research and Review papers in different National and International Journals of repute, and co-authored 5 books of Unani Medicine.
