1. Understanding Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh): Gain a solid understanding of the foundational concepts and principles of Fiqh as it relates to medication and prescribing in Islamic ethics.
2. Recognition of Ḥalāl and Ḥarām Medications: Learn to differentiate between permissible (Ḥalāl) and impermissible (Ḥarām) medications, including understanding the criteria and sources of Islamic law used in making such determinations.
3. Handling Alcohol and Gelatine in Medications: Explore the specific Fiqh rulings concerning the use of alcohol and gelatin in medications and understand how to navigate these issues ethically.
4. Knowledge of Other Ḥarām Ingredients: Develop awareness of other Ḥarām ingredients and excipients commonly found in medications and learn how to assess their permissibility in medical practice.
