Course Overview
Many Muslim youth grow up learning short Ahadith in Maktab, school, or at home. They may memorise beautiful sayings of the Prophet ﷺ, but as they grow older, they often need something deeper: guidance that speaks to their identity, emotions, friendships, online life, family relationships, temptations, worries, habits, and future responsibilities.
A Study of 40 Ahadith for Muslim Youth is designed to help students rediscover Hadith as living guidance for the modern world. Rather than treating Ahadith as isolated statements to memorise, this course helps students understand what Prophetic guidance means for the heart, the mind, behaviour, relationships, and daily decision-making.
Students will study selected Ahadith from authentic collections including Al-Adab al-Mufrad, Al-Arba‘in al-Nawawiyyah, Riyadh al-Salihin, Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Jami‘ al-Tirmidhi, and other recognised works. Each Hadith will be explored through its meaning, context, emotional lessons, spiritual message, and practical application.
The course covers key areas of youth development, including sincerity, purpose, purification of the heart, friendship, peer pressure, family values, emotional boundaries, digital behaviour, addictions, anxiety, anger, modesty, leadership, service, and Sunnah-based lifestyle habits.
Each session includes reflection questions, practical exercises, and Sunnah Action Challenges so students can gradually build a personal relationship with the Sunnah. The aim is not only to know what the Prophet ﷺ taught, but to begin living with Prophetic character in speech, choices, emotions, habits, and relationships.
Why This Course Matters Now
Young Muslims today are growing up in a world full of voices, pressures, distractions, and competing ideas about identity, success, freedom, relationships, emotions, and happiness.
Many students know Islam is true, but still struggle with questions such as:
- How should I deal with friends and peer pressure?
- How do I control my emotions?
- How do I protect my heart online?
- How do I handle anxiety, anger, temptation, and loneliness?
- How do I become confident in my Muslim identity?
The Sunnah offers more than rules. It offers a way of seeing life, responding to challenges, building character, and becoming beloved to Allah. This course helps students see the Hadith of the Prophet ﷺ as guidance for real life, not only as information to memorise.
