Content Curator

Role Summary: The Content Curator volunteer will play a vital role in curating content for BALAGHY, a revolutionary sharia-compliant video app that aims to provide high-quality Islamic content to its users. This volunteer role is divided into three major areas: identifying and selecting relevant Islamic content, reviewing and approving content, and ensuring that all content is in compliance with the app’s guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and select relevant Islamic content for BALAGHY
• Review and approve content submissions from contributors, ensuring that all content is sharia-compliant and meets the app’s guidelines
• Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to ensure that the app’s content is diverse, engaging, and informative
• Help to develop and maintain the app’s content strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the app’s mission and goals
• Monitor user feedback and comments, and use this feedback to improve the app’s content offerings

Time Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 hours per week

(Time commitment is flexible depending on your schedule and you may take a break and resume again after discussing with your mentor)

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Islamic principles and sharia law
• Strong research skills and ability to identify relevant Islamic content
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with online communication platforms
• Subject familiarity is required

Content Creator

Role Summary: The Content Creator volunteer for Balaghy will be responsible for producing engaging and informative video content that is sharia-compliant and aligned with the values of the platform. The volunteer will be involved in creating content on a variety of topics, including but not limited to, Islamic teachings, history, and current events, as well as producing creative and inspiring content that motivates and engages the audience.

Responsibilities:

• Create video content that aligns with the values and mission of Balaghy and meets the sharia-compliant standards of the platform
• Develop ideas and concepts for new video content that is informative, engaging, and inspiring for the audience
• Conduct research on various topics and ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the content being produced
• Work collaboratively with other volunteers and the Balaghy team to ensure that the content produced is of high quality and meets the needs of the platform and its audience
• Follow the guidelines and procedures provided by Balaghy for producing and submitting content

Time Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 hours per week

• Strong creativity and storytelling skills
• Ability to produce high-quality video content using relevant tools and software

Role Summary: Balaghy is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to serve as Ambassadors for our revolutionary sharia compliant video app. As an Ambassador, you will play a critical role in promoting Balaghy and increasing user engagement. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about our mission and are willing to share their knowledge and experience with others.

Responsibilities:

• Promote Balaghy on social media platforms, forums, and other relevant channels
• Create engaging content to promote Balaghy and encourage user engagement
• Encourage family, friends, and acquaintances to download and use the Balaghy app
• Share feedback and suggestions from users to the Balaghy team to improve the app
• Participate in regular Ambassador meetings and provide updates on your activities

Time Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 hour per week

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices

Role Summary:

The Live Streaming Executive / Coordinators will play a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of live streaming content on the Balaghy app. This role will involve working closely with the content creators, production team, and marketing team to ensure the smooth execution of live streaming events. The Executive / Coordinators will also be responsible for monitoring the live streaming events, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that the content is engaging and informative. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the content creators, production team, and marketing team to develop and deliver engaging and informative live streaming events.
• Manage and coordinate the scheduling of live streaming events, ensuring that all necessary preparations are in place.
• Monitor the live streaming events to ensure that the content is engaging and informative, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote live streaming events and drive engagement with the Balaghy app.
• Maintain accurate records of live streaming events and provide regular reports to the team.
• Continuously monitor and improve the quality of live streaming events to ensure they meet the needs of the Balaghy community.

Time Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 hours per week (flexible schedule, including some weekends)
