Short Bio
Prof. Taufik Kasturi, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., is a Professor of Psychology and the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). He specializes in Social Psychology and Islamic Psychology, with extensive research on well-being, Qur’an memorization, empathy, resilience, and mental health in Muslim communities. Educated at Universitas Gadjah Mada and Tilburg University (The Netherlands), he has held key leadership roles at UMS, including Vice-Rector for Student Affairs. Prof. Taufik is widely recognized for integrating modern psychological science with Islamic values, and for his active contributions to national and international psychology organizations.
